My recommendation to those who read this. It is all there, and there is more than that. Anyone who sees that and ignores it is an idiot. But, That is going from memory and it may not all be accurate. These are not small things that nobody could get right, these are things anyone with 1/4th of the budget and a historian would get right. Despite claiming their project is the most accurate in history, there are many instances of major inaccuracies. Matt DeWinkler has been caught lying in many cases. Tom Lynskey has been caught lying in many cases. The team have been looking and talking to investors for years and have not found one, if the project was good to invest in, it would have been invested in years ago. They have yet to demonstrate they can actually make a game.
They have demonstrated they can make nice looking animations, models, and walking. The 3 demos, all their videos, all their streams, their 1 released game, and everything else they have released to the public and is known to exist does not show any gameplay whatsoever. The ship is not %80 done like the team have claimed for years, it's not even %10 done. over 8 years into development, they have next to nothing done. Britannic: Patroness of the Mediterranean received mixed reviews, many of those who rated it positive admitted they only gave it a positive review to support the project. The team have been pushing merchandise more than both the main game, and Britannic: Patroness of the Mediterranean, the first, and recent game released by the company.
seems to be trying to distance himself from the project recently.
TITANIC HONOR AND GLORY DEMO BLACK UPDATE
There has only been 1 update on the main game in the past year, and not much more than that last year. Despite Titanic Animations being a YouTube channel, and Titanic: Honor & Glory being a videogame. The team are attempting to get rid of Titanic Animations, they consider him competition. Just an attempt to discredit other projects. For what it's worth, there is at least one case I know of that was true, but in most cases, it's bullshit. The team frequently accuse other Titanic projects of stealing assets and textures. There are stories from both former developers, as well as friends of former developers. Tom claimed the government was interested in some things the team was working on. I am going off memory, my recommendation is taking everything with a grain of salt here, and going to the Discord server to ask some of it's members. Now, some of this is confirmed, and some of this unconfirmed. It's not just cases of incompetency or broken promises, that comes with most independent development teams, and I can understand that.
I try not to just take others word for things, so I did my own digging and found a socking amount of negative things that would turn any sane minded person away from the project permanently. The problems server members brought up soon came to my attention, and there were a lot of problems. I joined a few months ago bored in lock down. I was not aware of the problems surrounding the project until I joined the Discord, that was before the associated subreddit fell apart. I did, however play the 3rd demo when that came out. I never really got involved with it, I never donated and I did not join any of the social media platforms until very recently. there really were not any large Titanic games, and none like the development team were promising. The subject really interested me, as aside from Adventure Out of Time. I heard about this project a few years ago, maybe 2015. I have been interested in the Titanic for as long as I can remember.
